By The successful cooperation of Ministries of Transport, Power, Works and Housing, Julius Berger, Kaduna State Government, security agencies and others who contributed to the completion of the runway and reopening of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja has received the commendation of President Muhammadu Buhari who appreciated their efforts.
The message was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina.
Buhari stated that he has been looking forward to such display of inter-agency cooperation and efficiency in the operation of the entire Federal Government machinery.
The President also appreciated the management of Ethiopian Airlines for its cooperation with the FG during the period of the closure of Abuja airport. He described it as a good example of intra-African cooperation.
