The 51st Ooni of Ife, Oba Alayeluwa Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has just announced the arrival of a new queen, Shilekunola Moronke Naomi to the his palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State
The announcement was contained in a post on his social media pages, where he wrote,” I waited patiently upon the Almighty the King of kings, he eventually did it in the midst of many trials.

It would be recalled the now ex-wife of the Ooni of Ife, Zaynab Otiti-Obanor, had confirmed that her 17-month-old marriage to the monarch, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, ended in August, 2017.
Before the announcement, there had been various speculations on who the next Ooni will marry as queen.
In his early life, the Ooni was married to Adebukunola Bombata from 2008 to 2016. When he married Wuraola Zynab Otiti, in an elaborate wedding in 2016, it was alleged that the marriage was arranged by the Oracle.
