Breaking! NYSC members hold INEC to ransom, Election might not hold in Lagos 

Election in many parts of Lagos might just not hold today. This is because members of the National Youth Service Corps are currently holding the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ransom over unpaid dues. 

Its a few minutes to 9am and this is the current situation.

There will be no election in Ikorodu’ -INEC Adhoc staff threaten

BlackBox Nigeria has gathered that across several INEC offices in the state, corp members are insisting elections wouldn’t go on as planned over unpaid dues. 

In Badagry, Kosofe, Agboyi Ketu Registration Area Centres(RACs), the corp members have prevented distribution of materials to polling units. Our correspondent gathered that the aggrieved are protesting over remunerations accruable to them during the presidential elections. 

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the money in question has been released to INEC to give to the corp members but for some reasons, they are yet to get paid. 

Party Largesse Tears INEC Apart As Adhoc Staff Vows To Boycott Governorship Election

It was a shocking situation this morning when BlackBox Nigeria gathered that in Badagry, Kosofe, Agboyi Ketu, the corp members insisted on collecting N20,000 while INEC offered to pay N10,000. 

The RACs are centres from where election materials are deployed and adhoc staff mobilised.

BBN further gathered that the money in question might be a largess from a political party to the electoral body. 

However, BlackBox Nigeria can also confirm that in Ikorodu, Mushin and some other parts of LAgos, distribution of materials have commenced while INEC adhoc staff have also arrived. Voting is expected to commence soon.
