By Governor Akinwunmi Ambode moments ago approved the immediate suspension of Baale of Shangisha, Magodo; Chief Yusuf Ogundare for attempting to kidnap himself.
This was disclosed in a press briefing by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Habib Aruna.
Mr Aruna stated that the Baale faked his own kidnap which he planned with his junior brother, Muhammed Adams.
The Shangisha chief was paraded alongside with his brother with whom his kidnap was planned. They were paraded before the press at the Lagos House, Ikeja. Also present at the briefing were the State Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, some State Commissioners and representatives of the Department of State Service (DSS).
It will be recalled that the Baale was kidnapped along CMD Road on July 5th, 2017.
Both suspects are now in Police detention as the suspension from the stool stands.
