Fast-rising singer Azeez Fashola , popularly known as Naira Marley has been Arrested by the police, BlackBox Nigeria reliably reports.
He was arrested in relation to the concert he participated in the ongoing lockdown protocols put in placing by the government.
It will be recalled that on Sunday 14, June 2020 Naira Marley and his brother were said to have chartered a flight from Lagos to Abuja using the name of the Minister for Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN.
According to the chairman of Executive Jet the flight was originally billed to ferry Judge Adefope Okojie to Abuja on Sunday 14th, 2020 as requested and a permit was granted based on the application. Early on Saturday, 13 June, 2020, we got information that owing to exigencies of duty, the Honourable Justice Okojie had departed Lagos for Abuja by another flight”. We thought it was the minister of works and housing not knowing that ” it was a bunch of useless people”.
But Naira Marley fired back saying “Lool they asked for our names on the jet though and looooooooool ur pilot is a Marlian and everybody there is a Marlian too.. my name is Azeez Adeshina Fashola and my lil brothers name is moshood babatunde fashola😂😂😂 and u was begging me to tag y’all. Do u know that over 20,000 Marlians travel with executive jet a month. We won’t be using ur hungry airline again for calling us useless.
Thank God we didn’t crash on that flight sha because we nearly did.
BTW We didn’t book the flight ourselves.
