Breaking! Lagos Assembly begins impeachment process against Governor Ambode

News reaching BlackBox Nigeria has it that the Lagos State House of Assembly might soon begin an impeachment process against Governor Akinwumi Ambode.
This is coming after weeks of back and forth as regards the 2019 budget which the embattled Governor claimed to have submitted but was initially refuted by the House.

As at moments ago during a plenary session of the hallowed chambers, the lawmakers have started deliberating on an alleged fraud by the governor.

It would be recalled that Governor Ambode’s troubles started when he fell out with the APC National leader and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is his benefactor and godfather. The Governor as since been replaced with Babajide Sanwo-Olu as it flagbearer in March’s gubernatorial polls.
