Breaking! INEC declares President Muhammadu Buhari winner of Presidential election
The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared President Muhammadu Buhari the winner of the 2019 Presidential election defeating former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar in a suspense filled race.

Buhari polled a total of 15,191,847 votes as against Alhaji Atiku’s 11,262,978 votes to be returned as the duly elected president for the next four years.
It would however be recalled that the opposition PDP, Atiku’s Party has earlier rejected to result in a protest press release.

While a total of 1,289,607 votes were rejected (or voided), President Buhari won by a margin of 3,928,869 to emerge victorious.

In declaring Buhari the President-Elect, INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu said, “That Muhammadu Buhari of the APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law and scored the highest number of votes is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected.”
Concede Defeat Already, Dele Momodu Appeals To Atiku
The INEC chairman further disclosed that Buhari and his deputy, Professor Yemi Osinbajo will be presented with certificates of return by 2pm on Wednesday after (today).
