Breaking! Governor Sanwo-Olu sacks Kweku Tandoh, appoints new chairman for Lagos Sports Commission

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has relieved the Chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Dr. Kweku Tandoh of the position while also appointing a replacement.

Governor Ambode Sacks Deji Tinubu As Lagos Sports Boss
Kweku Tandoh who has chaired the commission’s board for two years was sacked over the weekend BBN exclusively gathered. Tandoh, a former Director of Sports at the defunct Lagos State Sports Council replaced the late Deji Tinubu as the chairman in November 2017.

The new Board Chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission is Sola Aiyepekun, a sports enthusiast and administrator.
According to sources within the government, Aiyepekun is expected to resume immediately.

Sola Aiyepekun according to his official Twitter handle is the CEO of SNT SelSports. He also recently founded the Official Liverpool Supporters Club in Nigeria where he also serves as the President. Aiyepekun worked with the late Deji Tinubu as a Special Assistant when the late sports administrator headed the commission.
