By Former Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Senator Godswill Akpabio has been elected President of the Nigerian Senate BlackBox Nigeria can confirm.
The former Minister of Niger Delta under President Muhammadu Buhari was elected by his colleagues moments ago defeating his closest rival, Abd’aziz Yari.
Akpabio got the most votes in the ballot cast defeating Yari who insisted on contesting despite odds not being in his favor.
