Breaking! FG Lifts Ban On School Closure, Inter State Travels
Federal Government has announced the lifting of ban on schools as it declared that students in classes of examination are to resume for learning.
The directive was announced by the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID19 and Secretary to Federal Government, Boss Mustapha moments after briefing the President Muhammadu Buhari on latest development of the ravaging virus in the country.
In this regards, schools have been notified to reopen for pupils in Primary 6, JJS 3 and SS 3 to resume and get prepared for their promotional examinations.
In same vein, the Presidential Task Force also lifted the ban on Inter State movement, a ban which has been in place since the lock down commenced in Nigeria. It was however added that the movement will be between the curfew hours.
According to the new directives of the Task Force Committee, the new directives are another phase of the easing of lockdown which started since May 4th.
It will be recalled that Nigeria has been on partial lock down since March 31st, 2020 after President Buhari addressed the nation on the need to curb the nationwide of the dreadful coronavirus, COVID19.
