By Reports reaching Blackbox Nigeria has it that businessman turn politician, Otunba Ademola Adeleke has won the Osun West Senatorial by-election.
Otunba Adeleke who is the father of music acts, B-Red and Shina Rambo as well as pop star, Davido’s Uncle won in a landslide to replace his elder brother who died weeks ago.
Adeleke of the PDP won over 60% of the votes to defeat the ruling APC in what has shocked many especially those outside the states who took the words of the governor, Rauf Aregbesola seriously.
Ademola Adeleke scored 42, 742 votes to Madashiru Hussein of the APC’s 26, 552 votes. Labour Party who fielded a candidate came a distant third with 189 votes.
