By Breaking! Buhari Dissolves APC NWC For Boycotting Virtual Meeting
President Muhammadu Buhari moments ago dissolved the Ajimobi-led National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to a tweet by his Media aide, Bashir Ahmad, Buhari dissolved the NWC in their absence at the ongoing meeting hosted by the Acting National Chairman, Chief Victor Giadom.
Buhari also appointed Governor of Yobe State, Governor Mai Mala Buni as Chairman of Caretaker Committee and extraordinary National Convention.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Giadom after meeting with Buhari in Presidential Villa on Wednesday scheduled a meeting for the National Executive Council and advised all party structures to be present at the virtual meeting. But the Ajimobi-led NWC released a statement earlier on Thursday disclosing it’s stance on not attending any meeting at it was believed Buhari was wrongly advised.
