The member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and the All Progressives Congress candidate, Babajimi Benson has won his reelection bid. 

Shocking! Sanwo-Olu loses polling unit to PDP

Jimi Benson won his closest rival, PDP’s Tolani Disu with over 20,000 votes to emerge victorious. 

JB as he is fondly called scored 42,963 while the PDP candidate polled 19,825.

In the same vein, President Muhammadu Buhari also defeated the PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar in Ikorodu while the APC senatorial candidate, Bayo Oshinowo otherwise known as Peperito polled more than his PDP counterpart in the senatorial race. 

BlackBox Nigeria earlier reported that there was a low turn out amongst voters in Lagos and the country in general.
