By Breaking! 15 Lawmakers Dump APC For PDP As Ekweremadu Remains In Police Custody
Drama has continue to unfold at the Nation’s legislative upper chambers, the Senate as lawmakers, about 15 have announced their defection to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered from a reliable source that the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki earlier today, around 7am drove himself to the National Assembly. It was learnt that the Police siege at his residence only barricaded his convoy, in their bid to stall his movements for the day.

However, Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu is still being surrounded at his residence by a team of Police officers. It was learnt that the National Assembly is currently filled with fierce looking officers who are placed at strategic locations of the Assembly.
The source also disclosed that 15 aggrieved lawmakers of the All Progressives Congress, namely; Sen. Tejouso, Sen. Shaaba, Sen. Gemade, Sen. Melaye, Sen. Shittu, Sen. Rafiu, Sen. Shitu Ubali, Sen. Isa Misa, Sen. Hunkuyi, Sen. Monsurat, Sen. Danbaba, Sen. Nafada, Sen. Nazif, Sen Kwankwaso and Sen. Nyako have defected to the PDP.
