He extends such optimism to the party at large promising that they are here to disrupt the status quo in Lagos politics.

“Come March Saturday 9th we are going to become victorious at the Lagos election and win the majority seats at the Lagos State House of Assembly. We are not just saying this but we have worked for it,” He said optimistically.

On the turnout of supporters at the rally ground, he expressed that the party has gone beyond renting crowds but making sure that whatever is seen is authentic and credible.

Immediately after been unveiled and handed over the party’s flag, Gbadamosi without mincing words assured the people of Lagos East Senatorial District that the freedom from powers that has subjected Lagos State is near.

He regarded the forthcoming governorship election as the deciding factor to the future of Lagosians as a vote for his party will portend rebuilding Lagos.

“I believe it is time for Lagos State to be free from 20 years of rubber-stamping kind of leadership and misrule. In the next 18 months after May 29th, we will rebuild Lagos,” he assured.

Gbadamosi while wooing the prospective electorate, expressed disgust over the state of things in Lagos state especially when it has to do with the low remuneration paid the average worker which he regarded as too little and an embarrassment by Lagos’ standard.

“Recently via a video clip, I saw civil servants which used to be a profession of pride struggling to get packs of rice distributed by a politician as part of his campaign souvenir. This was only made possible because there is hunger in the land,”

“The hunger in the land is a deliberate attempt by the ruling party to neglect the masses. There is need for us to change this shame and this is why one of the projects we want to embark upon if voted into power is to increase the take home of the average civil servant,”

“We cannot allow our common wealth continue to be in the hands of the few while we continue to suffer basic necessities. Going by Dubai’s example, the average policeman goes home with 1.5 Million Naira per month. The average Lagos civil servant also deserved to be paid well, this will aid the fight against corruption,” He reiterated.

On the role of the people to gain the freedom he preaches, Gbadamosi urged the people to join hands with the ADP as the party is already in serious talk with another opposition party to put up a formidable fight in deposing the ruling APC.

“This task cannot be accomplished by just us; we need you to also be involved by spreading the good news to all and sundry. I can assure you that a formidable party in this state has approached us to talk strategy on how to depose the hegemony enjoyed by the ruling party. You will hear from us soon be rest assured the conclusion will favour us,” he revealed.

While expressing worry on the low turnout of the people of Lagos East Senatorial District at the venue of the rally, he encouraged them to rise to the challenge of playing a pivotal role as Lagos politics is about to change.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered from his speech that there are indications that the party BOG revealed his party is in talks with might be the People’s Democratic Party, PDP as he reiterated that the relationship between the two parties remained rock solid.

BOG, in his parting words introduced his 32 year old running mate, Mrs Abibat Adebimpe Adeosun as an agile youth who will pursue in no small measure the interest of all while assuring that a vote for them is a vote for replicating what he has already done as a real estate developer where the average Lagosian will enjoy quality road, electricity and health care among other key facilities.
