Black Panther Star Actor, Chadwick Boseman Dies Of Cancer
American actor, Chadwick Boseman has died after suffering from cancer.
Boseman’s publicist who confirmed his death on micro blogging site, Twitter disclosed that the actor who rose to screen prominence as the star of Black Panther died from a cancer he has been battling since 2016.
According to official statement, Boseman died in his home with his wife and family. Until his death, the actor had not publicly disclosed his health status despite featuring in several movies while going for chemotherapy and surgeries.
The statement reads, “It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. He was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and battled with it these last four years as it progressed to stage IV.
“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much, from Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”
