The recently crowned champion of Big Brother Naija All-Stars, Ilebaye, disclosed that she has become restless since she was announced the winner.
Ilebaye, who clinched the N120 million grand prize of the Big Brother Naija All Stars edition on Sunday, revealed this on Tuesday, during the winner’s prize presentation ceremony.
According to her, sleep has eluded her since being declared the victor of the season’s thrilling reality show.
In her candid statement, the reality star conveyed her disbelief at the momentous win, saying, “I’m still trying to feel it being the winner of the All-Stars season. I’m still like, ‘Ouch! Is this a dream?’ I’m still trying to adapt to every moment.”
Her excitement was palpable as she recalled the electrifying moment when her victory was announced, “I was super excited when I was announced as the winner. I didn’t believe it.
“I was just so excited. I haven’t slept since then.”
Ilebaye’s triumph marks a significant milestone, as she becomes only the second individual from Northern Nigeria, following in the footsteps of Kaduna-born Katung Aduwak, who emerged victorious in the inaugural season back in 2006.
Additionally, she joins the exclusive ranks of female winners, standing alongside Mercy Eke (2019) and Phyna (2022), in receiving the coveted Big Brother Naija prize money.
