Banks Operating In LASU To Be Demolished, Management Announces New Arrangement

Buildings housing a handful of banks operating inside the Lagos State University Main Campus Ojo are set to be demolished. The buildings were affected by the reconstruction of the popular Lagos-Badagry expressway.

In a statement from the University’s Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations, it was revealed that new locations were been prepared for the affected banks.

The statement reads, “Management has been in talks with the banks knowing the disruption this will cause their businesses.

“To minimise the discomfort this development may cause Staff, Students, Members of the University Community as well as the banks, the University Management has provided temporary space for the affected banks to enable them continue providing their services, pending the time they will be able to utilize the permanent space allocated to them.”

The University Management urge all affected with the demolition to bear with the new arrangements.
