By Nicknamed the ‘Julius Berger’ of Ikorodu, the Honourable member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson has made good another promise of bringing lasting succour to the people and residents of the 7 communities in Erunwen area of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area.
The road flag-off today, Saturday, 3rd of December, 2022, followed a listening tour carried out by the rep member to know what the people need in the area.
The road construction which will start from the Erunwen junction on Awolowo road to terminate at Abule village will be adding to the over 30 roads Benson has facilitated since being elected to represent the federal constituency in 2015.
Speaking about the flag-off, Rep. Babajimi Benson wrote,” In fulfilment of the promise made few months ago during a listening tour to some LCDAs in Ikorodu Federal Constituency, today, I flagged off the construction of the dilapidated Erunwen road in Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area.
“All things being equal, the Erunwen road is expected to be completed in the next four months and adorned with solar-powered street lights for relief of the residents, easy vehicular movement and socio-economic development of the area.
“While I urge Erunwen community to cooperate with the contractor for timely delivery of the road, I enjoin the residents to vote APC all the way in the forthcoming 2023 general elections. “
