The People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, have stormed Osun State for the swearing in of Senator Ademola Adeleke as the Governor of the state.
Adeleke on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Osogbo city stadium, together with his running mate took the mantle of leadership as they have both taken an oath of office, which was administered by the Osun State Chief Judge, Adepele Ojo.
Present in the main bowl of Osogbo City Stadium to witness the event were dignitaries that included the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and Akwa Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom.
Also present were, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State, Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose and Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
Also at the venue were: Wife of the PDP presidential candidate, Titi Atiku, Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, and former Oyo governor, Chief Rashidi Ladoja, among others.
Also, former Governors of Osun and Oyo states, Prince Olagunsoye and Rasheed Ladoja also graced the event ongoing at the venue, Lagos PDP governorship aspirant, Dr Olajide ‘Jandor’ Adediran; Senator Francis Fadahunsi; former Osun deputy governor, Erelu Olusola Obada; Oluwole Oke, among many others.
