Ayodeji Rilwan Tinubu, popularly known as ART, has extended his New Year greetings to Nigerians, describing 2026 as a year of renewed hope, unity, and active civic engagement.
In a New Year message to mark the beginning of the year, Tinubu urged Nigerians to remain optimistic about the country’s future and to play active roles in strengthening democratic values and national development. He stressed that meaningful progress can only be achieved when citizens are fully involved in the political process.
As part of his message, Tinubu called on Nigerians particularly members and prospective members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to take full advantage of the party’s upcoming Membership Re-validation and Electronic Registration exercise. He described the initiative as a critical step toward building a more inclusive, transparent, and digitally driven political party.
According to him, the APC e-registration exercise, scheduled to commence on Monday, January 5, 2026, is designed to update party records, admit new members, and strengthen grassroots participation across the country.
Tinubu noted that the electronic registration process would make party membership more accessible and efficient, while ensuring accurate data capture to support effective engagement and representation within the party.
He encouraged Nigerians to seize the opportunity to make their voices count, reaffirm their commitment to democratic ideals, and contribute to building a stronger and more responsive political system.
Tinubu concluded by wishing Nigerians a prosperous New Year filled with peace, progress, and renewed hope, while calling for unity and cooperation in advancing the nation’s democratic journey.
