The Senator Abiru Innovation Lab (SAIL) has opened registration for teachers in both public and private schools across the Lagos East Senatorial District to apply for the Lagos East Teachers Fellowship (Cohort 2).
Lagos East Teachers’ Fellowship Programme is designed to equip educators with new skills that would lead to better learning outcomes. It is for teachers who are interested in inquiry-based learning, and want to use technology in their classrooms to the benefit of their students.
SAIL, an initiative of the Tokunbo Abiru Constituency Team (TACT) Foundation, is a dedicated innovation and tech lab that is providing relevant technology, business and digital skills to teach enthusiasts and young entrepreneurs across the Lagos East Senatorial District.

Last month, July 29, teachers who had successfully undergone the training had their graduation which was witnessed by top government functionaries including the Lagos State Honourable commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, Special Adviser to Governor Sanwo-Olu on Innovation and Technology, Mr Olatunbosun Alake and Tutor Generals from District 2 and 3, among other dignitaries.
The Certificate that will be used has the endorsement of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED).
