APC Zonal Chairmen Throws Weight Behind Olumide Shofowora for Ward B Councillorship

Hon. Olumide Adeleke Shofowora, popularly known as Onward, has secured the unanimous endorsement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Conference of Zonal Chairmen in Ward B, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), for the upcoming councillorship elections.

The endorsement was announced today during a meeting convened shortly after Hon. Shofowora submitted his party nomination form.

The gathering witnessed the presence of key figures from the Onward Campaign Committee and Zonal Chairmen across Ward B, who publicly pledged their support for his candidacy.

Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Owoyele Luqman, the Ward A Coordinator of the Omo Ologo Team, introduced Hon. Shofowora to the assembly, emphasizing his rich history of leadership as a former student unionist and a committed community leader.

Hon. Shofowora took the opportunity to present his campaign blueprint, titled the ONWARD Agenda, outlining key programmes and projects aimed at advancing the welfare and development of Ward B residents.

He assured the zonal chairmen that inclusiveness, transparency, and grassroots engagement would form the foundation of his service if elected.

“I am committed to fulfilling every promise made during this campaign. With your support, we will move Ward B forward, together,” Hon. Shofowora said.

In her remarks, Hon. (Mrs.) Ayedun, Chairperson of the Ward B Zonal Chairmen, praised Hon. Shofowora’s aspiration, commending his track record and encouraging him to continue his campaign with vigor toward victory at the APC Primary Election.

Similarly, Hon. Abiodun Olayinka, Secretary of the Conference of Zonal Chairmen in Ward B, applauded Hon. Shofowora’s ambition and highlighted his significant contributions to the growth and development of Ward B and Imota LCDA at large.

The meeting concluded with a resounding show of unity and commitment from the zonal chairmen.
