Grief has since taken over the political sphere of Igando/Ikotun Community after one of it’s Chairmanship aspirant, Comrade Shakiru Balogun died after being involved in a ghastly motor accident.
Comrade Balogun’s death is coming barely 24hours away to the Local Government Area Elections which is scheduled to hold on July 22nd. BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Balogun was an aspirant for the chairmanship position as he lost out the primary to another aspirants.
Com Balogun was also said to be a former Chairman of National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Igando’Ikotun Chapter.
