APC chieftain dies in Lagos

A top chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Gbolahan Adepegba has been confirmed dead.

BlackBox Nigeria learnt that the popular politician died earlier today after driving himself to a medical facility where he hoped to seek help but reportedly died before he could be attended to. He was 57 years.

Popularly known as ‘Computer’ or Hon. Gbolly especially amongst political heads in Lagos Island, Adepegba was until recently the second aide to the immediate past Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos, Tunde Balogun.

Although he was reported to have been relieved of the job after he was found culpable financial indiscretion during the party’s last Local government primary elections, Gbolahan Adepegba remained influential within the party and was a frontline agitator for the Tinubu for President campaign.

Gbolahan Adepegba before his death was also the Vice Chairman of the Lagos State Table Tennis Association.
