As a way of showing love to the less privileged on Valentine’s Day, the APC Amazons, a prominent group of women in politics, conducted a charity visit to the Lagos State Rehabilitation Centre in Majidun, Owutu area of Ikorodu. The visit aimed to share love and support with homeless individuals, persons with disabilities, and, notably, the Motherless unit.
Under the banner of the ‘Leaving No One Behind – Show Some Love’ project, the women’s group came together to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. This initiative focuses on uniting young women in politics who are not only doing exceptional work but are also willing to collaborate to create a more beautiful world.
The APC Amazons, recognized for their significant contributions to community growth, embody the spirit of women empowerment in politics. This women-focused political pressure group is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and compassionate society.
On Valentine’s Day, the APC Amazons chose to spend their time at the rehabilitation centre, reaching out to the vulnerable members of the community.
