Anthony Joshua Suspended for 28 Days Following Knockout Loss to Daniel Dubois

Anthony Joshua, the former two-time world heavyweight champion, has been placed under a 28-day suspension from boxing by the British Boxing Board of Control.

This decision comes in the aftermath of his knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois last Saturday at Wembley Stadium, where Joshua suffered a series of knockdowns before succumbing to Dubois’ powerful right hand in the fifth round.

The suspension, a standard protocol following a knockout or technical knockout loss, prohibits Joshua from participating in any boxing activities during this period.

Despite this setback, Joshua’s immediate boxing schedule is unaffected as he does not currently have any confirmed upcoming fights.

The defeat to Dubois represents Joshua’s fourth loss in his professional career, following previous setbacks against Andy Ruiz Jr. and Oleksandr Usyk.
