It has become my annual tradition to write via this medium on this day. I had written about so many ings such as grace, luck and giving utmost thanks to the Almighty God by reflecting on a year before. The last 356days was like no other.
Reflecting on the idea of what to write this moment, I am in a great dilemma on where to start the story from whether the sickbed I am current in or the account of the year that started promising then turned sour.
Since my last birthday, I have had a taste of life, I have lost in properties but gained so much in people. I have died countless times but resurrected all the time. I have climbed several mountains where others slipped but I have kept walking.
I had lost strength hoping it was the end but I have kept hope alive. I have had negative thoughts but I draw positive from people that supported me this far.
I have seen pain, trauma and death but they have only doubled my will to stay alive and be strong.
All these wouldn’t have been possible without the love, donations and prayers being showered on me by everyone (friends, families and other concerned Nigerians). I am hugely grateful for everything. My treatment is no doubt finance by you and I pray may Almighty God continue to bless you. I will cherish this all my life. I am lucky to have you.
It is not Uhuru but with God, I will keep keeping on. My health has improved significantly but my treatment must be completed. I am still in dire need to pay about 6million Naira to the hospital and I hope through you God will perfect its plan.
