Angry man shoots neighbour over cat’s disturbance

Clinton Bliss Jr, a Floridian, has reportedly shot his neighbour, James Taylor to death after the latter’s cat entered into his home.

Report has it that the incident occured in the city of Umatilla, Oregon, United States, on Wednesday.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Bliss had gotten a hold of his firearm and had stormed out of his apartment with intention of killing the cat.

This, however, didn’t go well with the cat owner who challenged the 58-year-old. Following an argument that ensued between the duo, Bliss in a rage, shot Taylor in the chest.

Bliss was arrested at the scene and has been charged with second degree homicide. He is being held without bond at the Marion country jail.

As investigations continue, the suspect told his wife on Thursday that he was assaulted before he shot the victim. However, an eyewitness told police authorities otherwise, claiming that there was no physical contact between the duo.
