The Anambra Commissioner of police, Saturday, warned the 228 new constables posted to the state against corrupt practices.
CP, John B. Abang, who received 228 Police Constables, who successfully passed their training at the Police College, Orji, Rivers State, charged them to be civil to members of the public, while discharging their duties.
Blackboxnigeria gathered that, the newly posted constables, who are all indigenes of Anambra state, were addressed by the Commissioner of Police at the State’s headquarters, before being deployed to their respective Local Governments of origin, which is in accordance with the Inspector General of police, Mohammed Abubakar, Adamu, NPM, MNI.
“Discharge your constitutional duties with humility, honesty and respect for human rights.
“Refrain from all manner of corrupt practices and indiscipline, anyone caught and found guilty would be shown the way out of the force.
“I congratulate you all, and wish you success in your career in the force.” CP John Abang said.
