By South Korean multinational automotive manufacturing giant, Hyundai is set to change the global outlook and functionality of automobile with its latest concept of a walking car called ‘Elevate’.
Tagged as “the future of vehicular mobility” by the manufacturer, the proposed car would be able to climb a five foot wall and step over a five foot gap.
According to the South Korean company, the concept was developed for use in the wake of natural disaster which will permit first responders drive directly to victims instead of navigating debris from the scene on foot.
The Elevate could also according to design pick up people with disabilities at door level.
No doubt if this concept is brought into reality, the level of human involvement in cases of disaster and emergency would be drastically reduced.
