Nigerian music icon Tuface Idibia’s younger brother, Charlybrave, has opened up about long-standing family issues involving Annie Idibia, Tuface’s wife amidst the ongoing separation crises.
The statement, posted on his official Instagram account about 3 years ago where similar event unfold, sheds light on alleged conflicts within the family and hope for reflection and peace.
Charlybrave began his post by emphasizing that his intention was not to attack but to create a peaceful space in his heart.
In the lengthy message, he revealed deep frustrations about Annie’s behavior over the years, describing instances of public and private altercations that he believes have contributed to family discord.
“I have always loved you and treated you the best way a brother-in-law should… not because you gave me reasons to, but because I tried to see you through Inno’s (Tuface’s) eyes,” Charlybrave wrote.
However, he alleged that Annie has repeatedly disrespected Tuface, members of his family, and even his staff.
Charlybrave recounted several incidents, including alleged public humiliation of Tuface, family disputes, and host of other unruly behavior.
One particular accusation showed an incident where Annie allegedly threw a bottle of Hennessy at Tuface at Charlybrave’s workplace.
He also accused Annie of creating unnecessary conflict with family members, including an alleged incident where she locked out Tuface’s mother during a visit, forcing her to stay elsewhere. “What was her crime?” he asked.
The statement grew more intense as Charlybrave expressed concerns about Annie’s alleged violent tendencies.
“What scares me most these days is the violence. Where does it end, Annie? Is it when you stab him in the chest while he sleeps… then what?” he questioned.
Charlybrave concluded his message by urging Annie to reflect on her actions and seek peace for the sake of the family and the children involved. “Life is bigger than who has money and who doesn’t. I wish you peace and all the best, Annie. God knows I’ve tried.”
As of now, neither Tuface nor Annie Idibia has publicly responded to the allegations made in the post.
