The name of the immediate past governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode is missing from the newly constituted membership list of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).
GAC, the highest advisory political organ of Lagos chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), ignored Ambode’s name following a repositioning of its membership composition.
Also excluded from the new list are the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Adejoke Adefulire and Adebisi Sosan, who were both ex-deputy governors that served the state between 2011 and 2015, and 2007-2011.
Dr. Idiat Adebule, the immediate past deputy governor, was, however, included in the new membership list that was composed for the council.
The new list of Lagos APC GAC members as amended consists of 30 persons. They include Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, Rt.
