By Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has announced the permanent ban of Vehicle Inspection Officers from all roads in Lagos State following outcry by commuters.
The Governor made this known as he commissioned the pedestrian bridges, lay-bys and sli road newly completed by the administration at Ojod Berger axis of the State.
Ambode also urged officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to limit its operations to fringed and highways. He advised that they stay clear from all main streets of the State
