Alleged Rape: Two Protesters Arrested As Masked DSS Agents And Other Security Officials Storm COZA HQ Abuja
News reaching BlackBox Nigeria at this moment confirms the arrest of two unidentified protesters at the COZA Headquarters, Abuja early hours of Sunday.
It was learnt that the arrested persons were on ground at the church of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) for the protest billed to be staged in the wake of rape allegations levelled against the founder of the Church, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
BBN gathered that a member of the church, who is also spouse of Nigeria’s talented singer, Timi Dakolo, Busola Dakolo on Friday, June 28th revealed how she was allegedly raped by Mr Biodun when she was a teenager in Ilorin, Kwara State.
This allegation was immediately refuted by Mr Biodun with a press release as he stated he never raped anyone, even as an unbeliever. He also added that he would be taking the matter before a competent Court.
His response to the fresh allegation was however not accepted by some section of his followers who have since taken to social media and announced a protest to be staged in branches of the church in Lagos, Ilorin and Abuja.
