The Grim Reaper on Wednesday reached for Yenagoa-Billionaire, Mr. Keniebi Okoko, leaving the entire Ijaw nation in gross melancholy.
Mr. keniebi, 42, who contested for the 2019 governorship position in Bayelsa state, under the umbrella of The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, died from hypoxia. Blackboxnigeria gathered.
Keniebi, who was also the Chief Executive Officer, KDI Engineering, and a Pastor at Salvation Ministries, Port Harcourt, died while undergoing an operation to remove excess fat from his abdomen and beast region.
A doctor’s report sighted by newsmen confirmed that, the late Keniebi had the primary cause of death as hypoxia, which is the absence of enough oxygen in the tissues to sustain bodily functions, and the secondary cause as cardiac arrest.
His death certificate was issued by the Amethyst Health Care and Diagnostic Centre Limited, Lekki, where the surgery failed due to alleged power outage in the hospital as the back up generator failed to star whilst the operation was underway.
Keniebi kicked the bucket few days after he made donations of several items to his kinsmen at his home town, Obunagha, as a means of alleviating the suffering brought by the novel coronavirus pandemic and the imposed lockdown by government.
Keniebi Okoko, the son of Prof Kimse Okoko – a former Pro Chancellor of the University of Uyo and ex-President, Ijaw National Congress (INC), is a renowned entrepreneur and industrialist who seats atop a multibillion-naira investment in oil and gas.
He was a trained economist from the prestigious University of Port Harcourt, he holds a degree in Political Science from the renowned Carlton University. In 2014 Okoko got a Post Graduate from the University of Pennsylvania on Strategic Thinking, he also wears an Harvard lapel haven, participated in the Harvard Business School High Potentials Leadership Programme in 2014 and later in 2015 participated in the HBS Finance for Senior Executives Programme.

Okoko recently completed the Harvard Business School Owner President Management (OPM), Management and Leadership Program which he started in 2016
The young Okoko, before his demise also carved a niche for himself in business circles and in the corporate world.
