By The All Progressives Congress Ijede Secretariat was cool and calm yesterday, as the Party top echelon under the able leadership of Hon. Saheed Hassan and the LGA Chairman Hon. Sunday Kareem summoned a reconciliation meeting of all aspirants and Party Candidates from the recently concluded Local Government Election Primaries.
The Party Chieftains took their turns to advise all that the primaries has gone and there is need to unite as one to ensure massive victory in the main election slated for July 24th, 2021.
They advised that the winners should be magnanimous in victory, carry along all party members and unify all interest to ensure a united and indivisible Party within the LCDA, “No Victory No Vanquished” says the Leaders.
Present at the reconciliation meeting were the Incumbent Chairman Ijede LCDA, Hon.Fatiu Jimoh Salisu, former LGA Chairman Hon.Kayode Fahm , Former Executive Secretary Hon.Razaq Ajetumobi , former Sole Administrator Hon.Emmanuel Aguda , Chief S.Ade Ajala , Party Secretary Hon.Monsur Bello , Woman Leader Mrs.Samota Salami , Youth Leader Mr.Fashola Owoyele and the four Ward Chairmen in Ijede LCDA.
Also in attendance were the Chairmanship Candidate Hon. Mrs.Motunrayo Gbadebo and her Vice Chairmanship Candidate Comrade Kabir Femi Kareem ,other Chairmanship Contestants like Mr.Oluwatosin Onamade and Mr.Akeem Akinjobi.
The Councillorship Candidates were not left out and they were Miss.Basirat Kehinde, Hon.Akeem Shitta,Mr.Nurudeen Saka and Hon.Kehinde Fadeyi alongside the Councillorship Contestants Hon.Falilat Taiwo, Mr.Ibrahim Lamina, Hon.Saheed Bisiriyu and Mrs.Temilade Nofiu Akinyemi .
The entire house agreed to sheathe their swords, work together in the coming election, deliver massive victory for the party and strive for the progress and development of Ijede LCDA genuinely.
