In a groundbreaking transfer development, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has agreed to accept an unprecedented offer of €300 million from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal for star striker Kylian Mbappe.

This eye-watering deal also includes an astonishing potential salary of €700 million for a year, after which Mbappe could potentially move to Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer.

Initially, Mbappe had expressed his desire to complete his contract with PSG and leave as a free agent once the current season ends.

However, AFP reports that the Saudi club has been granted permission to engage in negotiations with the World Cup winner.

PSG has been exploring ways to secure a transfer fee for Mbappe during this summer transfer window, even contemplating the idea of letting him go on loan.

Thus, their acceptance of this world-record offer comes as little surprise.

In prior discussions with the player, PSG had presented two options: either he agrees to a new contract with the French club, including an astounding 10-year offer worth €1 billion, or he gets sold this summer.

It remains uncertain whether Mbappe will be open to moving to Saudi Arabia, even if it’s just for a single season, as he has consistently expressed his desire to join Real Madrid.

As the situation unfolds, it is evident that Mbappe’s future will continue to be a subject of speculation, and PSG is likely to receive more lucrative offers for the football superstar throughout this transfer window.
