Ahead of primaries, Rep. Babajimi Benson woos delegates in Ikorodu Constituency I

The lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, on Wednesday, met with stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu Constituency I, ahead of the party’s primaries billed to hold this month.

The meeting, which was held at his constituency office located on along Ebute-Igbogbo road in the Ikorodu area of Lagos, had in attendance exco members drawn from the 17 wards and 3 LGAs in Ikorodu Constituency 1.

Also present were party leaders, council chairmen, members of iCARE Foundation, among others.

Speaking at the event, Benson — the Chairman of the House Committee on Defence — appealed to the delegates to support the APC National Leader and presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In the same vein, the lawmaker who is seeking a third term in office unopposed made a case for the re-election bids of Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Lagos East Senator, Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru.

He equally endorsed leading aspirant, Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat in Ikorodu Constituency I, urging all party stakeholders to work cooperatively to ensure the victory of the above-mentioned aspirants at the primaries.
