Ahead of APC primaries, LAHA aspirant Bolowotan canvasses delegates in Ikorodu North, West and Central

Amid preparations for the primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) billed to hold this month, a leading aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat in Ikorodu Constituency I under the ruling party, Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan has met with delegates to solicit their support in order to clinch the ticket.

Bolowotan took to his ongoing consultative visit to each of the three local government areas in Ikorodu Constituency I — Ikorodu Central, Ikorodu North and Ikorodu West — where he engaged the party leadership, ward executives and other stakeholders on his ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda, on Wednesday.

Speaking at one of the LGAs where he was warmly received, the aspirant spoke on his background and achievements as the Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, affirming that he remains the best man to represent the people of Ikorodu Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Bolowotan further assured delegates of his support, urging them not to give in to any form of threats of removal from their offices by anyone.

In the same vein, the Director-General of his campaign organisation, Yusuf Atebo told the delegates not to be afraid and vote their conscience since the process was going to be done by secret ballot.

He insisted that the delegates have the opportunity to redirect the course of history by staying on the path of truth, adding that Bolowotan’s pedigree should be considered in ensuring that he emerges the APC flagbearer.
