By Agboyi-Ketu Chairman, Oshinowo Appeals To Residents On Road Rehabilitation, Reveals Plans
Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area, Mayor Dele Oshinowo has appealed to the residents on the issue of dilapidated roads that needs rehabilitation. He said the only hinderance is “paucity of funds”.
He made this disclosure in a statement made available to BlackBox Nigeria on Thursday. He said his administration is very concerned about the state of the roads, especially the Trunk C roads which connects to Ikorodu Road.
BBN360 gathered that commuters in the Local Council, especially the residents have been complaining about the roads which needs urgent attention. Oshinowo in his response assured that he is aware and concerned, but made it known that the rehabilitations will be carried out in phases based on funds available to the LCDA.
Commending the swift response of the Chairman, a resident of Agboyi-Ketu and film maker, Ibrahym Mojeed-Sanni applauded the efforts of Mayor Dele Oshinowo for his prompt feedback mechanism that has made his day to day relations with the people very cordial and mutually beneficial.
