Again, APC adjusts timetable, announces new dates for primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has again reviewed its timetable/schedule of activities for the primary elections into various elective offices.

According to a statement by the ruling party’s National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka, the National Working Committee (NWC), on Wednesday, approved the adjustment for the Governorship, State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and Presidential primaries and Appeals.

With the new timetable, governorship and House of Representatives primaries will hold on Thursday, May 26, while Senate and House of Assembly are slated for Friday, May, 27.

The elections appeal for governorship and House of Representatives will also hold on Friday, while that of Senate and House of Assembly holds on Saturday, May 28.

The special convention for the presidential primaries is billed to hold from Sunday, May 29 to Monday, May 30.

This adjustment comes exactly a week after the APC released a newly reviewed timetable for the primaries.
