Iconic Nigeria-American soul singer, Seal, is finally making a long-awaited return to music after more than a decade.

Fans of the celebrated artist are thrilled to know that Seal is set to release his new album, All I Know Is Now, on Friday, February 14, 2025, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Seal, an English singer, born to a Nigerian mother and Afro-Brazillian father, Francis Samuel in Paddington, London had his origin in Yoruba tribe, Nigeria— a testament to the inclusion of ‘Olusegun’, ‘Olumide, and ‘Adeola’ in his official name.

He was married to a super model, Heidi Klum in 2005 with four children before the marriage got called off in 2014.

He was a recipient of three Brit Awards, four Grammys and an MTV Video Music Award. His single, “Kiss from a rose” won three grammys in 1996 and “Imagine” in 2011 which featured his last earned award.

His 1994 single, “Kiss from a Rose”, peaked atop the latter chart after its inclusion on the film soundtracks for The NeverEnding Story III and Batman Forever.

Seal shared the news on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, announcing that the album was produced by his long-time friend Trevor.

The announcement features a special treat for fans which the album will also feature a fresh rendition of his legendary hit, “Kiss From A Rose” (Seal’s Version), which is expected to resonate deeply with longtime fans.

The post reads, “Hey Seal! When’s your next release?”

“After over a decade, I’m stepping into 2025 with new music, produced by none other than my friend Trevor.

“All I Know Is Now will be out everywhere this Friday, alongside Kiss From A Rose (Seal’s Version).

Just in time for Valentine’s Day.”

The announcement of ‘All I Know Is Now’ comes after years of anticipation, with Seal teasing his return to music after a long hiatus.

Seal’s last album of all original material was in 2015 with his seventh studio album, appropriately titled 7. He followed that up with a cover of classic jazz standards in 2017 titled Standards.

He did recently release one new song however, a parody version of his biggest hit titled “Kiss From a Lime” in collaboration with Mountain Dew for their Super Bowl commercial with Becky G, in which he turns into an actual seal.
