Current European Champions, Liverpool has been crowned as the Champions of the English Premier League for the 2019/2020 season.
Liverpool emerged winner in a ceremonious way with 5 games left as close league rival, Manchester City lost to Chelsea at the Stamford Bride Stadium on Thursday night, thereby creating the needed gap for the Merseyside Red to clinch the trophy.
The last time Liverpool won the English title was in 1990 and has not been so lucky to clinch the trophy, though they came close in last season but Manchester City beat them to it with a point.
With 28 games won so far, Liverpool won the league in a record time with 23points clear ahead in the league.
