One of its earliest milestones was shattering the record for the highest number of album pre-orders by an African artist, surpassing the previous benchmark established by Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album ‘Twice as Tall’, among others.
The impact of ‘Timeless’ reverberated globally, as it achieved a remarkable feat within just eight days of its release.
The album secured its place in Apple Music history by garnering the largest number of first-day streams worldwide for an African album.
Furthermore, the album’s impact extended to Apple Music’s Global Daily Top 100, with a staggering nine African songs simultaneously dominating the chart.
Notably, ‘Timeless’ achieved the remarkable position of Number Two on Apple Music’s US Albums chart, setting a groundbreaking precedent for African albums.
The album also carved out a new record by claiming the most simultaneous Number One entries on Apple Music’s albums chart.
