By AFCON2019: Super Eagles Beat Cameroon, Qualifies For Quarter Final
Nigeria’s Super Eagles has defeated Africa’s defending champions, Cameroon in the Round off 16 game in the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Odion Ighalo’s brace and Alex Iwobi goals were enough to stop the indomitable lions of Cameroon, same team that won the last edition of the tournament.
Two of African football legends, Nwakwo Kanu of Nigeria and Samuel Eto of Cameroon both witnessed the historic match at the Alexandria Stadium, Egypt. Nigeria will now play the winner between Egypt and South Africa, a game which will be played at the Cairo International Stadium by 8pm.
