By In the mood of seeking blessings from key stakeholders in Nigerian politics, the gubernatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Lagos state, Mr Babatunde Gbadamosi popularly known as BOG, Yesterday paid a courtesy visit to President Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR), at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.
The former President was in his usual fatherly disposition, giving safely words of advice and urging politicians to embrace peace and dialogue as ways of helping our state and the nation forward.
The governorship hopeful discussed a number of issues with the former president. He also affirmed conviction on Obasanjo’s patriotism and explained that the two term president proved to be a detribalized Nigerian.
“Just looking at his staff complement. Baba has staff from almost every part of Nigeria, and their loyalty to him is unstinting.” He expressed.
He finally hailed Obasanjo as a well-deserved elder statesman whose experience in leadership both home and abroad is next to none.
“His role as elder statesman on the world stage is well deserved, but his deep grasp of Nigerian and world issues, as well as his intimate knowledge of several fields, especially engineering and technology is breath-taking, especially for a man of his age.” He concluded.
