By Members of the public are urged to abide by the laid-down driving speed limits while plying the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has said.
The Sector Commander FRSC in Lagos, Olusegun Ogungbemide, gave the advice after monitoring vehicular movement along the expressway up to the Ibadan end tollgate on Saturday, adding that motorists should avoid excessive speeding to avoid fatal accidents.
He also encouraged commercial drivers to avoid overloading and use of phone while driving.
The sector commander pleaded with the contractors handling the ongoing rehabilitation on the road to remove all the barricades to enhance free flow traffic.
