Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has come under fire after she praised Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu, for making life easier.
The actress shared a picture of Seyi Tinubu on her Instagram page on Tuesday. “You made life easy. Thank you for everything @seyitinubu,” she wrote in the caption.
The post was met with heavy criticism from netizens who knocked Badmus for heaping praise on the president’s son at a time that the country is battling a worsening economic crisis, leaving many Nigerians in suffering. Like flies to dung, angry fans took the comment section to express their outrage.
An Instagram user anonymous_rexxil commented, “They make life easy for you right aiye ti baje Many people out there struggling a lot.. things too cost you dey here praising him that he makes life easy gbogbo yin kema shanku… Hunger dey catch a lot of citizens. Who do you help.. Ara loma paa gbogbo yin.”
Another user, aje_omo_aje wrote, “with all the we*Rey you and you papa Dey do abi…make life easy.”
Also, Official_lordhero wrote, “He no go better for you !! Una don collect transfer again.”
@femi_chicago, depicting the state of the country, wrote, “I wish 200 million people could SAY THE SANE THING”
Corroborating this, another Instagram user, madamkennied, said, “Make life easy for you you should say. What about 200 million Nigerians suffering?”
