An 11-year-old house help allegedly assaulted and fed with cockroaches and excreta by her boss, has been rescued by activist Gwamnishu Harrison in Akwa Ibom, Anambra State.
The victim who is currently receiving medical attention at Amaku General Hospital, Awka Ibom, was reportedly rescued from a dungeon where she laid helpless with wounds and scars all over her face and body.
Gwamnishu wrote” A concerned citizen reached out to us on the case of an 11-year old house girl who was locked up, repeatedly beaten and fed with cockroaches and excreta.
“We quickly sprang into action, got to Akwa Ibom and rescued the little girl from the dungeon where she laid helpless with septic wounds and scars all over her face and body”.
